Nicole Burth

Head of Communications Services and member of the Executive Management, Swiss Post

Nicole Burth has been head of the Group division “Communication Services” at Swiss Post since January 2021. This new division is all about interactions between various stakeholder groups – digital, user-friendly and secure. Previously, she held various management positions within the Adecco Group, most recently as CEO of the Swiss business unit and as Zone Manager for Belgium, Luxembourg and Austria. In addition to her leadership and management experience, she has a strong track record in the field of partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, and in business development and expansion. Nicole Burth has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Zurich and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

National HR Manager for ABB Nicole Kamm Steiner speaks about how experiences and processes observed during the pandemic have led to permanent positive changes in organizational culture, and highlighted necessary qualities of modern leadership.

The discussion covers how leadership is being developed, with an emphasis on reducing unnecessary hierarchies, fostering participation, and creating workplaces with a focus on trust, respect support. Digitalization from both a top-down and bottom-up perspective is addressed. Lastly, an appreciation for the humanity experienced during the pandemic and a desire for its continuation is expressed by all the participants.
