2.55 p.m.

The CEO-Talk was held with Susanne Ruoff (Head of the group management of the swiss post), Christian Keller (Chairman of the company management of IBM), Remo Lütolf (Chairman of the company management of ABB) and Roger Wüthrich-Hasenböhler (Chief Digital Officer, Swisscom). The cannibalism between the new projects and innovations was a main topic in the discussion. The best way is to separate the digital business from the physical business and to give the digital business the needed freedom. Ruoff’s opinion is to keep the main core business. It is impossible to remove the core business and to put all on the new digital business, added Lütolf. One of the newest strategies, called co-collaboration, is to integrate the customer in the process of the service, which was previous done by the company. Landolt proposed a second strategy, namely the co-innovation. The main goal is to work with the customer and other brands together and develop new ideas as a team. Wüthrich-Hasenböhler closed the talk with the statement “If the company has great projects with prospects, they are able to find qualified specialist.”
