2016

Julia Bösch, from Constance, Germany, founded Outfittery 2011 in Berlin along with Anna Alex. Outfittery is a European male shopping platform for the man who doesn’t like or have time to shop for clothes but wants to look good. Their mission is to make men happy. (Oohs from the audience.) How should the perfect man’s shopping experience look? US experience showed that the personal shopper was successful but expensive. Not really a European option.

“We want to get to know our customer before he begins to shop. A questionnaire is filled out and we hook him up with a stylist who puts together 2 outfits, which are shipped in a white cardboard briefcase. Shoes and mini beer included. A hand written note from the stylist on her photo card is the personal connection to the client.”

The agony of choice and the hassle of going to a busy store with screaming sale prices is the past when one shops at Outfittery.
